What Remove Pages does

Remove Pages copies every unselected page into a new PDF while keeping the surviving pages in their original order.

The source file on your device is not edited. Page removal is different from redaction: it removes whole pages, not selected text or images within a page.

How to use this tool

Limitations to know

Removing every page cannot create a useful PDF; leave at least one page in the output.
Bookmarks, forms, signatures, and page-number references may no longer match after whole pages are removed.
This operation is not a content-redaction tool and makes no claim about hidden information elsewhere in retained pages.

Privacy and document handling

The complete source PDF is uploaded even when only a small number of pages will be removed.
The shortened PDF is stored separately; removing pages does not delete the uploaded source object.
Review retained pages for headers, attachments, metadata, or other information that may still be sensitive.

Stored input and output objects are deleted automatically: files uploaded without an account are removed about 24 hours after upload, and files belonging to a signed-in account are removed after 7 days. A scheduled sweep enforces this hourly against the object store itself. Workers attempt to remove per-job temporary directories after processing. This does not delete stored input or output objects.

Troubleshooting

The action button remains disabled

Wait for upload and thumbnail rendering to finish, then select at least one page without selecting all pages.

The wrong page was removed

Use the thumbnail page numbers rather than printed numbers inside the document and create a new result.

The source has no usable preview

Open the PDF locally and re-export it if it is truncated, malformed, or password protected.

No. Create another output from the unchanged source PDF and select a different set of pages.

Does this erase text from part of a page?

No. Remove Pages excludes complete pages only; it does not redact an area within a retained page.
